Truth

To make this pin-up work you have to know that the creator of Wonder Woman, William Moulton Marston, was ALSO the inventor of the lie detector. Which is why Wonder Woman’s lasso compels men to tell the truth.

He was ALSO into feminism but also bondage games, with his older wife and younger mistress (the two of which lived happily together after his death for like 40 years, so they did get along), which is why original Wonder Woman canonically loses all her power if she’s tied up by a man. They removed this ‘power’ from later versions for obvious reasons.

But knowing all that, this was a pin-up idea which made me laugh every time I sketched it, and so I created it, which is my entire purpose of drawing.

I think her front leg came out really nice, as did the glow of the lasso, and the look on his face.
